Refund & Guarantee Policy
BackerRock provides Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaign promotion services. Our guarantees are based on attributed pledge value tracked from BackerRock promotion placements, not total campaign funding.
Performance guarantee: free resend
Basic and Advance include a 2x performance guarantee. Premium and Gold VIP include a 3x performance guarantee. If the applicable performance target is not reached, BackerRock provides a free resend for the eligible placement.
Fund protection: refund difference
Basic, Advance, and Premium include 1x fund protection. Gold VIP includes 2x fund protection. Refund differences are calculated from attributed pledge value tracked from BackerRock placements.
- 1x fund protection example: If a creator buys the $899 Premium plan and the campaign receives $800 in attributed pledge value, the refund difference is $899 - $800 = $99. The eligible difference is returned through the original payment method.
- 2x fund protection example: If a creator buys the $1,299 Gold VIP plan and the campaign receives $2,000 in attributed pledge value, the 2x protection basis is $2,000 / 2 = $1,000. The refund difference is $1,299 - $1,000 = $299. The eligible difference is returned through the original payment method.
Important limits
BackerRock does not guarantee total funding, overall campaign success, a fixed number of backers, or a fixed conversion rate. Results vary by campaign quality, product category, pricing, offer, creative assets, launch timing, and existing traction.
